Apostasy spreads from within the hierarchy. Monarchies fall. The Church is infiltrated by modernism and moral corruption. Revolution sweeps the Christian nations.

Phase II

The Minor Chastisement

Terrible wars engulf Europe. Famine and pestilence follow. A great portion of mankind perishes before the restoration begins.

"God will send two punishments: one will be in the form of wars, revolutions and other evils; it shall come from the earth. The other will be sent from Heaven."

Phase III

The Great Monarch & Holy Pope

A Catholic king of royal blood rises from exile. An Angelic Pope is elected. Together they defeat the enemies of Christendom and restore the Church.

Phase IV

The Era of Peace

The Sixth Age of the Church. Universal faith, justice, and missionary expansion. One flock, one shepherd. Satan bound. The Church triumphant on earth.

Phase V

The Great Apostasy

Ingratitude and lukewarmness return after the long peace. Nations fall away from the faith. The final persecution of the Church prepares the ground for Antichrist.

Phase VI

The Rise of Antichrist

Born of the tribe of Dan, educated by demons, performing false miracles. He claims divine honour, persecutes the faithful, and rules the world for three and a half years.

"He will be born from a union of the Holy Spirit — no, of a corrupt spirit and a woman… he will be nourished secretly, then suddenly rise and reign."

Phase VII

The Two Witnesses & Final Victory

Enoch and Elias return to preach against Antichrist. After their martyrdom and resurrection, Antichrist is destroyed by God. A brief final peace precedes the Last Day.
